HELLO FRIENDS, FANS, CLIENTS & COLLEAGUES
I'm proud to be a part of a great band called LuchaDOORS. After a successful run of club dates, the Luchas are currently busy recording http://www.myspace.com/whoaaretheluchadoors. I've also been performing once in a while with jazz duo Drono, mostly at private parties.
This is my 11th year as a proud member THE AUTHENTICS, a band specializing in old time rock'n'roll, and led by master vocalist TOMMY TASSI. Tommy performs a variety of esoteric and eclectic vocal oldies from the 50's, 60's and early 70's. My job descriptions are: keyboard/left-hand key bass/backup vocals. This winter, The Authentics will be performing at a series of private parties, but we'll get back to doing concerts in the summer. Watch for us, and I'll keep you posted. Recently I also had the pleasure of filling in with blues legends Kal David & Laurie Bono with their band The Real Deal. Nowadays you can hear Kal perform with Eric Burdon.
My collection of originals continues to grow. I do not try to be a producer of master recordings. Instead, I use digital technology to record nice, clear demos. My collection of 9 songs, "Some Original Tunes", is available. No frills, no liner notes or cover. Just a simple demo CD in slim plastic case. $15 including shipping. Besides doing music, I've been taking photos most of my life. With the advent of digital photography and, more recently, the digital SLR camera, I've been inspired to take more photos. Later this year, I'll have my web site upgraded so that I can show the latest original "PHOTOZ BY NORMAN A. NORMAN". In the meantime, I'll take this moment to mention my friend and mentor John Michael Ferrari, who takes my professional pictures.
